Who We Are

Founded in 1999, ECO Environmental Consultants is the first consulting firm in Kuwait devoted exclusively to environmental, health, safety, and sustainability services.

We were established by Dr. Ali Mohammed Khuraibet, who envisioned a firm founded on credibility, scientific rigor, and community engagement; an organization that protects both people and nature, while maintaining the highest standards of integrity.

ECO provides environmental consulting (“HSE”) services to both oil and gas and non-oil sectors. Our services span environmental impact assessments, compliance audits, monitoring, policy and regulatory advising, field studies, and risk management.

Dr. Ali Mohammad Khuraibet is a highly experienced environmental scientist and leader with a career spanning over four decades. He specializes in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), sustainable development, and marine and desert ecosystems. As the Founder and Director General of ECO, he has contributed significantly to environmental research, policy formulation, and education in Kuwait. Dr. Khuraibet has held key roles in government and academia, including heading Kuwait’s Environmental Impact Assessment Committee and serving as Associate Professor at the College of Health Sciences, PAAET. He has also collaborated extensively with international companies and environmental organizations on impactful EIA studies and marine conservation projects.
